You are reading this on it. In October 2026 the eziline.com website that had run on WordPress since 2009 was retired and replaced with a new site built the way we build for clients now: a static Next.js export, scroll-driven stories animated with GSAP, 381 pages, an AI menu, a quote wizard and a portfolio of more than 150 projects.
What changed
- Static and fast. Every page is pre-rendered HTML served from plain files; there is no database or PHP to attack, patch or slow down.
- Scroll stories. The home, services, products and about pages are told as scroll-driven scenes with GSAP: pinned sections, drawn illustrations and counters that assemble as you read.
- 381 pages. Services, 20+ products, AI sector modules, 150+ portfolio projects, careers, support and this updates feed, each with its own page and metadata.
- AI menu and quote wizard. The AI products get their own menu, and the quote wizard turns a few answers into a scoped estimate request.
- Updates. Every post from the old blog kept its address; the timeline on the updates hub now runs from 2007 to 2026, with a story for every year.
What stayed
The addresses. Every URL from the WordPress site either still works or redirects to its replacement, so nothing bookmarked or indexed was lost. The content too: the exhibitions, tours, MoUs, awards and guides from fifteen years of posts are all here, with drawn covers generated for the posts whose original photos had gone missing over the years.
How it was built
The site is a Next.js 15 project exported to static files, with the WordPress content converted at build time and a set of scripts that generate redirects, covers and hosting rules. Motion is GSAP with ScrollTrigger, designed to be fully readable without JavaScript. The visual language is deliberately plain: white, one brand purple, one cyan, drawn line illustrations instead of stock photography.
It is the same approach we recommend to clients with marketing sites: a static front end that cannot be hacked or slowed, a form endpoint for enquiries, and a build pipeline that regenerates everything from content. If you want one, the quote wizard is a good place to start.
What comes next
What comes next is more of the same: products that answer from real data, websites that cannot be hacked or slowed, and a team that keeps showing up at the universities, exhibitions and tours that fill this feed. If you have been a client, partner or team member at any point since 2007, thank you; you are somewhere in the twenty stories on this timeline. And if you have not yet, the contact page is one click away.
